Rob Juice
has stepped from the horn section to center stage. When an album like
Rob's newly released CD "Bad Boy Love" brings a huge
smile to your face in 10 seconds or less, you've got a winner. In an
unprecedented way, "Bad Boy Love" has the ‘one hear
appeal’... the sound we look for in today’s Soulful Jazz music.
Juice played trumpet hard from the
start. He also writes music from his heart and not from his ear. As a
young man, they called him a 'city boy with country boy ways'. Rob
Juice fell in love at an early age with music and began playing the
trumpet when he was in the 7th grade. Rob is well known for his
songwriting talents, and has worn the hats of , producer, composer and
actor. Rob Juice is a seasoned professional, live performer and jazz
trumpet specialist.
He is the writer of theme songs for
2 Chicago TV talk shows 'My Brothers Keeper' and 'Lets Talk Baby
Girl'. His name roles in the credits weekly in Chicago. Being a superb
and recognized musician, Rob Juice has also performed in hundreds of
concerts with many top acts out of Chicago and around the country.
Playing trumpet with acts such as Chilites, Otis Clay, Willie Clayton,
War, Tyrone Davis, The Dells, The Emotions, Nick Colionne and many
other top acts.
In the album "Bad Boy Love",
hits flow out of Rob Juice like popcorn and hooks pour like a Smooth
butter knife. "Juicy Kiss Of Life" reveals Juice's
extraordinary music writing art-form and with out question in line
with today's urban R&B avant-garde Jazz music.
"BadBoy Love" is
Sexy, tasteful, Hot, Wet and down right Devilishly unforgiving in a
sensual way. "Bad Boy Love" brings to mind the adult
colors of today’s Smooth Jazz topped off with Juice’s high-end urban
almost Hip Hop beats.
Juice is flirtatiously true to the
Miles Davis tradition of trumpet players that custom create their own
genres rather than fit into one! Juice says he writes music in color
and blurs the line between ART, Jazz and R&B.. Super WOW!
When Juice confesses he will make
his horn beg, trust me, you have never heard anyone beg so sensually
sweet as he blows his circle breath of passion into every silky note
of each track. Rob Juice has that special something that is as
recognizable as deep tan lines on the best body found under the
melting sun. Want to know more but afraid to ask?

I did not see anything about your
personal life on the bio. I never heard of the genre you are creating
for your type of jazz but when I first heard it that is exactly what I
was thinking sensual, heart stopping Jazz, The kind of music you would
listen to while you are in your 7th floor condo after an evening rain
shower and of course you are not alone ..... Etc. Very nice and
soothing. That's a cool Idea Sensusl Jazz. I like that.

I close my eyes and imagine what I could do while this song plays.
I'm a ROMANTIC kinda woman, I'm
hearing this song wondering just what or how it would be to make
passionate love 2 my mate, (if there was one) but I still visualize
the hugging kissing touching with candles burning and a little laugh
here and there, Wow, it seems almost as if there is a man right
beside me. Oh yes this is the song I want playing when I meet him,
maybe a bottle of wine as we slip away into our energies of love.
Juicy kisses & Juicy Love N. I love all of the music that
plays on Rob Juices Profile, this one "Juicy Kiss of Life" just took
me there (smile). All you have to do is sit back and listen to it,
you will feel what I feel I'm sure - CLOSE YOUR EYES!
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE !!
THANX ROB, VERY IMPRESSIVE WORK!

Not short of amazing
Reviewer:
Eve - Myspace Music
I can't just single out one song,
your style, some would say, is similar to Miles Davis, yes that maybe
true, but I say even better. (No disrespect.) I find Rob Juice's
music something not short of amazing, it's that type of music for
early rising, evening strolls, and late nights with low lighting and
candle lights. Once he begans to blow that horn, you find yourself
patting your feet, snapping fingers, closing your eyes and simply
relaxing, and I can't leave out smiling while waiting for the next
tune. Rob's music has that up-beat tempo, with an ole-school
flavor, yet a twist of NuJazz, leaving nothing unturned. Soulful comes
to mind when you listen to songs such as: Just the Lonely Talking or
maybe The Way of The World, and if you find yourself not feeling like
moving in the morning, listening to a little, Juice In the Morning, is
sure to get your soul stirring.
Everything I've listened to by Rob Juice, is in plan words, "JUICY". I
give this music Kudos x 10.
Love you Rob, Keep on doing what you do, you've been blessed and God
in return blessed us with you.

Never Doubt, Never Question The Juice!...

I had my doubts, but this album is
really all that and a bag of popcorn. Juice has juiced jazz for all
it's worth and come up with a fresh-squeezed glass of awesome. This
nu-jazz is like older jazz I've listened to, only newer...and fresher.
It's like he completely explored the studio space. I always wondered
what Miles might be like if he was playing now in 2007. Now I know.
Next album, this baby's gonna walk outta the studio wearing gold
plated diapers. Buy this album, baby. Juice! Super wow!

TThis
week I am feeling' Rob Juice? The sun is sizzling hot and I've managed
to dissolve my tan lines into smooth memory as beads of sweat glisten
and then evaporate from my caramel skin. The exclusivity of my
Imperial Suite at the Fiesta Americana Grand - Los Cabos, Mexico
affords me the luxury of absolute privacy. The sandy beach embracing
the Sea of Cortez sparkles like gemstones as the sun rays plummet my
patience. I pick up the phone cradled on my terrace table to dial room
service. Where is my "Tall Glass of Juice?!!" I have sunbathed in the
music of many artists, but none have quenched "My Thirst" as
deliciously as Rob Juice's scorching hot and refreshingly kool CD, "A
Tall Glass of Juice. " There is no bias in this review, (because we
share the same hometown) only power filled professional adoration and
praise for this long anticipated project. When I first heard the
"devilishly sensual jazz" stylings on his earlier My Space selections,
I knew I was on to something extraordinary. My review of his first
project was earmarked with abundant enthusiasm because I knew I had
just tripped over a diamond waiting to be plucked from the ground.
When Juice confesses he will make is horn beg for you, trust me, you
have never heard anyone beg so sensually sweet as he blows his circle
breath of passion into every silky note of each track....But wait, he
sings too! Not since the erotic falsetto of Prince that dives
effortlessly into the throaty bass regions of vocal range, have I been
awakened and aroused by any musician attempting to create and command
their own music genre. Juice is the juiciest example of an
evolutionary category introducing an avant-garde marriage between nu
soul R&B and nu jazz. Writing and producing love songs with "fire" I
just gotta genuflect, bless him, and sing in tongues all at the same
time while rolling over onto my stomach to even out my copper shine!
With all the great preachers of passion like Barry White, Luther
Vandross, and Marvin Gaye doing the heavenly hook-up with heroes of
the sacred horn like Armstrong, Miles and Gillespie, I'm not mad that
Juice is the object of their everlasting empowering affection and
inspiration. Yeah, Juice, it's "Gonna Take Me All Night" to get to
sleep, cause the repeat button on my disc player is set. I don't want
any interruptions since I'm "On the Flow" with every song pressed into
this perfect CD. If everyone understood the "Lover's Code" as spoken
through the soulful horn and saline sound that purifies the truth from
apocryphal cliché', then Juice professes this world would be a sweeter
place and I for one concur. However, if you just want the raw truth,
"Backseat Lover" is a reminiscent journey of stolen kisses and 'feel
me ups" that make your first love and your best love a memory you will
never forget. So, yes, when you're finished dissolving your
inhibitions with this song, you better know you deserve the keys to
the condo AND the ride. Smooth jazz lovers don't despair, Juice
quenches your thirst with a move over mellow melody that wraps around
you like warm thighs and torrential kisses when his horn's holographic
vision of Whitney Houston's "Just the Lonely Talking" seizes your
heart with tenderness. Not forgetting his ambient audiences, Juice
lays this track down with the best lyrical blow job on the CD. And to
appease those who can't make the transition from Smooth to Nu, let me
reassure you that from now on, you will only order from the bar your
Southern Comfort and Juice. "Bleu Juice" is a jazz tonic that is taken
best by those who appreciate the dexterity of trumpet players. A true
declaration of Rob Juice's mastery on the horn, can be observed when
elevating your expectation to embrace his wave of Miles Davis madness
mingled with Maynard Ferguson frenzy. My advice is don't exit this
experience without wading into the complexity of the "Bleu Juice" art
deco design. Finally, getting my kick the kitten kudos, is a simply
beautiful love song minus the horn, but embellished with heartfelt
provoking messages. "Love is Blinding." opens Juice listeners to a
rhapsodic romantic confession that lets us peek into the heart of the
Juice mystique. This is where I'm gonna have to insist that only the
high rollers pull up to the table, and negotiate this phenomenal
talent, because before all is said and done, A "Tall Glass of Juice"
will be the hottest new sound on the shelves, because his appeal is
locked in to a devilishly new sensual genre. By the way, this IS a
'get wet" CD in case you are wondering; not explicit, but
incorrigible, and written at prescription strength. Mixed and Mastered
by Urban Guerrilla Engineers, Danny Leake it peaks in performance,
creativity and FLOW. Follow the directions and take before bedtime, I
promise you'll feel better, and when you do eventually wake, don't
call me in the morning, cause I'll be at the Bikini Bar down by the
poolside, sippin' on my own "Tall Glass of Juice!"....

"Tall Glass of Juice" aptly
describes the music of Rob Juice...delicious to the senses,
electrifying and mesmerizing. He's been compared to Miles Davis, but
for me Juice is Juice. No comparison to anyone because Juice holds his
own. He is an original. His music gets into your skin within minutes.
The songs stir your heart deep down mellowing you into a peaceful
state of mind. You can get lost in his music within minutes of
listening to it. Like a nice delicious glass of juice, you will want
more than just a tall glass. You'll want to spend time letting it soak
through the pores of your skin; your mind; your heart. Juice has the
"JUICE" baby. Buy his CD now!

This is one of the most versatile artists' of our era. To make such
quality music is so amazing, playing all instruments via computer and
live trumpet just means this is the kind of musician record labels
would crave. Just listen to the new ideas of creativity. Record labels
better jump on this guy, sign him or they'll be missing the boat.

The
header on Rob Juice’s MySpace page states, “Devilishly Sensual Jazz”
and so if the devil made him do it then I say pass the plate, drop
your Benjamin’s and sign your soul up on the dotted line as a faithful
follower of this incredible jazz trumpet specialist. I just gotta rock
the props of this brotha’ good n’ hard. Simply because I want to hot
hype his talents in front of the listeners twice this month. Once as
an appetizer with tracks that already dress his page, and then later
this May when new songs and new excitement celebrate a brand new CD
release, that he promises me is “freshly squeezed from scratch,
Chicago style Juicy, BIGTIME!” Like so many of his enchanted fans, I
have been waiting anxiously for him to unleash the fury of this new
musical masterpiece onto the world, but like the typical impatient
woman that I am, I just want him to bring in on and make it happen
fast! However, my gut said, do instead, the superior shout out thang,
and before the CD release party happens, supply will inevitably hook
up with demand just because it’s the raw, wicked and definitely
devilishly sensual thang to do. So let me spin off a little bit with
selfish indulgence on the current tracks that you can hear when you
visit the Juice site. “Between the Sheets” blows a juicy Isley classic
down a river of new appreciation, guaranteed to leave beds crumpled
and sheets well worn. All I can say is ya just gotta love it. But now
“Lets Talk” pushes you out the bed with opposite alarm raising
urgency, I suppose to discuss with you why “Love is a Dog” but don’t
take it personal, because the sexy sounds of Juice blends perfectly
with any time of the day and for every chillamagic occasion. Yet, it’s
the song, “My Breath” that sucks every Juice newbie into the vortex of
his horn skills. I just gotta know how this man manages to breathe so
deliciously and play so divinely, together in one sensual song without
a pause. But, hey, “The Nasty Way” implies you must be equipped to
groove the Juice way or no way, regardless of the “Scary Eyes” that
lead your vibe deeper into the fires of the New Jazz era. My favorite,
however, should be a stepper’s national anthem, “Juice in the Rain.”
Chi town smoothers are known for their elite stepping skill, and it is
truly a talent I never lost, so, this song is a tune after my heart,
rainin’ love on this sexy stepper’s writing soul. So, now you’ve been
served...the appetizer...hold on to the menu...cause that new entrée a
la Rob Juice will be coming up hot off his grill later this month, and
I can promise, it’ll be so sizzlin’ you’re gonna want to slap your dog
and spank ya momma!
